Fancy yachts and private planes have paved the way for the invention of an entirely new way to adventure across the world in style.

A new form of luxury travel is on the horizon with the world’s first “Air Yacht.” The multi-million dollar concept was the product of two great minds coming together. A German businessman financed the project and Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini brought the incredible vision to life. Not only would the impressive Air Yacht be able to soar through the sky and sea, but it would also be environmentally friendly by offering zero emissions while it’s in use.

Members of the elite upper class are prepared to take a journey on the world’s first vessel that can travel by both air and sea. The Air Yacht is a marvelous mode of transportation that offers extravagance and sustainability. For now, the Air Yacht is still only a concept, but jaw-dropping designs for the vehicle will surely blow your mind.

The Vessel Is Massive and Upscale

The hypothetical Air Yacht would be nearly 500 feet long and powered by “eight counter-rotating electric engines fueled by lightweight batteries and solar panels.”

The Air Yacht would seamlessly float in beautiful waters in the world’s most exotic vacation spots or take flight and soar through the skies. The highlight of the Air Yacht is that it is an emission-free vehicle, meaning that it won’t cause much damage to the environment.

The Air Yacht Is an Environmentalist’s Dream

Described as “a fusion of luxury and eco-friendliness,” the extraordinary Air Yacht would span 150 meters – more than the length of an entire football field.

The sleek design of the vessel has four bridges that connect two large side blimps. In total, the Air Yacht would be 80 meters wide. The blimps are said to be inflated with helium. Lazzarini combined the best aspects of yachts and airplanes in order to create the most intrepid form of travel society has ever seen.

The Science Behind the Air Yacht Is Spectacular

The technical aspects of the superior vessel are something to marvel at.

When the Air Yacht is set to take flight, compressed helium is released from tanks inside of the blimps. This action would elevate the Air Yacht. When the owner of the vessel wants to explore the seas, the Air Yacht can be conditioned to float on the water due to the “depressurization of helium” and an elaborate system of anchors.

The Air Yacht Is Built to Last

Each of the Air Yacht’s 8 electric engines packs a powerful punch with 950 horsepower. These engines work by utilizing lightweight batteries and solar panels to stay within the eco-friendly theme.

Much like in sailing, the Air Yacht would be able to reach 60 knots of speed. Amazingly, the Air Yacht could also consistently travel for two days with zero emissions. The Air Yacht is built out of carbon fiber, giving the vessel high strength to combat even extreme conditions.

Of course, the vessel also would have state-of-the-art living spaces much like any other high-end vehicle. The Air Yacht would be equipped with a spacious living room and dining area to set the scene for hosting guests who desire relaxation and entertainment. It’s also able to accommodate 22 guests throughout 11 cabins, making it the perfect spot to host a party on both the sea and sky.

Five of these rooms are housed in each blimp and all of them boast 360-degree views. The master cabin contains the most unbelievable space on the entire vessel. Located in the central portion of the Air Yacht, the owner’s home base is both sprawling and refined.

The Vessel’s Size Poses Somewhat of a Challenge

The Air Yacht presents passengers with the most versatile way to travel. Whether guests aboard the Air Yacht are commuting across the water or through the clouds, they can get to their destination more efficiently than ever before.

The only conundrum that Lazzarini ran into while designing the vessel was that its vast size makes it impossible to park in a marina. To combat this roadblock, the designer installed a retractable staircase so guests can access a smaller boat to reach the harbor.

The Cost of the Air Yacht is Astronomical

The Air Yacht is quite a spectacle. From its advanced design, technological capabilities, features, and materials, acquiring such a vehicle would cost buyers a small fortune.

The estimated cost of an Air Yacht is a whopping $627,511,500. Impressed by the splendor of such an advanced vehicle, an unnamed German businessman decided to fund the creation of a prototype. However, the Air Yacht will need to undergo various engineering tests before finally taking flight with passengers aboard.

The Air Yacht Showcases Impressive Innovation

Lazzarini, who has designed a number of high-end travel vessels that have not made it to production, believes that the Air Yacht has the makings of a successful invention.

The innovator explained his design for the vessel, saying, “The Air-Yacht is pushed down from the rotation of the engines and can stand in the water through a depressurization of helium and ballast anchor system. It can sail quietly in the water with a speed of five knots,” he said

While only a select few wealthy travelers will be able to afford such a deluxe vessel, the idea of zero emissions can hopefully open the door to other vehicles having the same capabilities in the near future. Lazzarini is proud of his sophisticated rendering and his design studio website has said, “With the Air Yacht, there is a way to sail the sky without emissions damaging the future.”
